Hope your tank move has been good. I need to do some catching up.

Lol I almost made less eloquent, but similar joke to yours, so I was sitting on that one.

Good morning CB! Thank you, going slowly, Rock was supposed to be here yesterday at 5:00 pm and no signs of him. He won’t answer his phone.
Sorry Kevin, He's busy trying to explain his coral feeding regiment to me without slapping me for asking him a thousand questions.

The wife and I traveled to Hillsboro last night, stayed overnight in a motel, and then traded our 2001 van in for a 2009 van this morning. We had lunch on the way home.

If it helps your decision any, my wife has said 'no more glass tanks'. She really likes the aesthetics of an acrylic tank.
That comment made me smile.

My take away from that was, you are blessed and fortunate to have a spouse that supports you in your hobby enough to have that strong of an opinion.

Acrylic it is!

I’m going to ask the question everyone is wanting to know, will there be a number 12 in 9 months?

Looks like you are getting all caught up.

Alright all you DIYers, I need some help. I need a thin ( the screw is about 1/2 inch long) strip of aluminum or something to run between the two light fixtures with a hole in the middle to mount a black box light. Any suggestions?

Don’t think thin will support a light. If it’s heavy, how much more weight can the brackets hold? I see a center brace, shadow from light ok? Don’t want to reinvent the wheel but if those brackets were on opposing sides you could mount a rail. I think I would look at mounting a bracket to the wall, back of tank stand or hang from ceiling rather than run a bar between the other lights.

Thanks, the light is actually light but I’ve considered hanging it from the ceiling as a last resort.

Terrible news to hear Brad died. The whole band is from Escatawpa Mississippi (about 30 miles from where I live) and used to play locally around here all the time before they became really big.

Funny story about 3 doors down though. My friend built the bass player, Todd Harrell's pool. He said one day Todd got drunk and told my friend he would call any Rockstar on his cell phone and let him talk to them. My buddy chose Chris Cornell.

So Todd called him lol. He talked to Chris Cornell, and said he was really cool.

Supposedly one of the questions Chris asked my friend was, (Todd's drunk isn't he?)

Dolphins pick at rocks?

Yes they do. I am thinking about adding a Delphinapterus leucas next to the tank. I think it would look awesome. I may need a chiller though!

Its either that or a Carcharodon carcharias.
