Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I put everything where it's going to live on day 1 usually, but, like everything else I do, probably don't follow my example...?

I do the same thing, never had a death doing this. The one time I tried light acclimating corals with a magnetic frag rack, half of them died within a week so whatever that means. Probably a coincidence.

Hey C-KID what you been up to?
6' 4"ish - 255lbs.

Oh, wait, did you mean activities?

Way too busy with too many things. Kind of like you. Most of them are on the personal side of life. Some are good and a couple not so good. The good = continuing to learn about 3D modeling and printing. My printer has been running, pretty much, non-stop since I bought it. The good = most of the problems I have, these days, are "Cadillac" problems.

Professionally = my search for the new gig continues with some progress.

Is your roof finished yet?

Speaking of "Cadillac" problems...

Glad to hear from ya...Nope roof still a project..today will finish the big first section of the right side of the house.
Taking my time to over do it right, replacing all the vent pipes and since I replaced all the bathroom and kitchen ceiling exhaust fans to 4 and 6 in pipes to increase flow and make the new fans super quite, having to install new bigger roof pipes...
I was smart about this. connected new fans bigger pipes to the small old 3 inch pipes so all I had to do is cut a bigger hole in the roof and pull the 3 inch pipes up till the new bigger pipe came to the roof top...
Also adding ridge cap vent along the whole roof to help with heat escape and air flow through the attic...

I am surprised you're not going to install one or two solar, power vents, or are you? If you do, just make sure to mount them far away enough from the ridge vent. They do make a difference.

installing lamarco ridge vent...
Yep, that's what I put on my old house. I still installed the power vents and was happy I did.

You did the right thing, there's nothing else to do in a case like this and with so little time, everything will be alright
Thank you my friend!

Sounds like you likely caught it in time. I have gone close to 24 hours without water flow and luckily everything made it. I did have a batter powered bubbler but that was it.

Good idea on the carbon too as without flow the soft corals can release stuff into the water which was probably the smell.
Thank you my friend!

installing automatic pop up laser tracking system with anti intruder microwave destruction beam and 50 cals..lol...
I sure hope you're putting in new, 4K cameras. I also hope the 50's are pop-up too. Watching the surprised faces just before the pink mist will be epic!
