Well..technically the ReefBreeders 35 will “cover” a 48x24 tank…. However, I put the 35 up that I sold to @tharbin to see the coverage. It only had 3 light pucks. The 35 is 35 inches long, however the light pucks on the end are about three inches from the edge of the light. So… the end pucks were about 9 inches from each end of my new 48” tank… sure, it “lit” the ends but you would only be able to grow low light corals on the ends. I wanted full coverage so I got the appropriate sized light. Sure, there is light spill on the ends but I can grow whatever I want on the ends too.
I hope that makes sense.

I would not try and fix it overnight. Like others said increasing salinity is much more harsh than decreasing it. I would not increase it to higher than 1.023 max by the end of day today and then back to 1.025 tomorrow or maybe the next day. Slower the better. Also the best way is to just do water changes with higher salinity or let it evaporate. If everyone seems okay now take your time.

1.021 isn't critically low. As Steve pointed out, lower is better than too high. Like everyone said, just swap water. Id do it over the course of the evening a few small changes at a time, testing along the way.

I have used what saltwater I had mixed it was maybe 10 gallons and it hasn't moved the salinity I have more mixing but not sure if it will be ready before my bedtime so it might be tomorrow evening before I can raise it any do you guys think it will be ok?

Personally, I would not sweat it. 1.021 is not that low. Not low enough to bother most organisms. I would just replace evaporation with saltwater and, optionally, do 5-10 gallon water changes every other day until your back to 1.025 or so. Like others have said dropping salinity is less stressful than raising salinity so you don't want it to go too quickly. Everything should be fine. I've always just used evaporation, it may take a week or two but no stress for the tank.

The ato is off I'm afraid to use it now incase the sensor is going bad. I will order another one when I can and got now I will just go back to manual topping it off.

Just unplug the ATO my salinity with evaporation took multiple days to increase be 0.01 so it may take time but that’s totally fine.
