Raindrops on roses is awesome, on my wishlist too. I dont know what my deal is, but ive never had luck with millies. Never made it a week. Maybe they dont ship as good or something.

That is definitely something to consider. Im trying to figure out which species typically grow well and keep color for newer acro growers. I know slimers and different ones can grow well, but I wonder about some of the higher market stuff like tenuis, speciosa, etc..

Tenuis are in a league of their own. Those and deepwater smoothies. I do still have one tennie, it is still the same size as it was a year ago when i got it, but it isnt dead.
Stags, spaths, hyacinthus, sp., etc are all fairly not crazy hard.

Those are actually the ones I like the most. Tennies are nice, but maybe their subtlety is probably nicer mixed in a larger tank than mine. I definitely appreciate the advice brother!

He is a pineapple conure, I have had him since he was 3 months old, he is now 6. He is attached to my hip, knows his colors, speaks English and is the best! He is super smart.

Awe that's awesome!!! I use to work with a lady that had birds and she would occasionally bring in her Cockatoo and he was so cool! He would sit on my shoulder and play with my hair for long amounts of time.

yup! birds are super rewarding but they are a huge lifestyle change, a deal breaker for most. The bond between a parrot and their human is much like a dog and their human. I have both and both are similar in the way they look at you with admiration and trust.

.....My conure is very spiteful though and he loves to spite bite when he doesn't get his way!

think of him as a "terrible two" year old kid that can fly and scream WHAT ARE YOU DOING when I am not pay attention to him. Usually, at 6:30am if I do not get up when he taps on his food dish to take me up, he will throw his dish across his cage....talk about jarring! hahaha so scary when I am in a deep sleep.

Quick story-
My parents love him so he stays at their house sometimes to sleep over. My mom was washing fruit and left the fruit on the counter. He flew over and took a bite out of every blueberry and strawberry. He has also do this when she bakes too...he lives quite a good life! ha
