I'm staring at a Biota Yellow Tang in my shopping cart but I also have that Dr Reef order coming soon with a Tomini and two Azure Damsel so I don't want to over do it all at once.. decisions decisions.

I would 100% try and line it up so you add both tangs in at once. That's the best way to avoid them fighting

Your magnesium level is way too low, i don't know the lore here but I think you should correct that first.

That's what I'm trying to do with dosing every other day should I dose every day? I didn't want it to go up too fast and cause issues.

Honestly, since I don't know the details of what happened to you (sorry), I don't know what you're using or why. You could take it every two days. 37 ml of magnesium seems like too much to me, but at the same time, it doesn't raise. What product are you using?

No worries my friend! I'm using brightwell liquid magnesium and seachem calcium. I was going to use another calcium that was recommended but when I went to get it my LFS was out.

I think you should use something else to increase your levels, because that dose is already too high ( in my opinion ) There's a product that's crystallized magnesium ( maybe seachem ) that you mix with RO water and it works well, but I don't remember the brand. I used it once and my levels increased in a couple of days.

Anyway, you already have the product, you can increase the dose but do it in several doses throughout the day so it's not all at once. You can still dose every 2 days but increase the amount and divide it into 4 or 5 doses per day.
