Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I think this pump is just to small (that's what she said) was looking at the sicce syncra silent .5 return pump. The one in the the pic is rated for about 115 gal pr hour (had it on hand) any recommendations ?

Disregard the man in the reflection, I had him arrested for loitering around my tank today...lol

I used a Syncra Silent 0.5 in a 15 gallon and I'd say it was adequate but not with an RFG on it. The 1.0 is the same size but, I think, the better choice if you intend to use an RFG. I do like Sicce return pumps.

Those suction cups look comical on that tiny pump 😂.

I have DC pumps for the first time and can't go back to AC now that I've experienced them. Very happy with the MightyJet and probably the MightyJet Mini would fit the bill at 266gph
running DC on the 40B and yes, i won't go back either, but those suction cups are off my sicce 3.0 return pump, ain't no coming loose there lol

our state banned veal a while back. it's all Chicknitzle now.
Most of the schnitzel I had was boneless pork but once I had chicken and at a hunting lodge rabbit.

Lids ok I think, don't have anything to polish inside the screen retainer groove, so may let it ride. this is for the AIO 20 Gal

The old me woud reply, "This? This piece of junk is what you're going with? Just give up. You can save yourself though. You can package it all and send it to me."
The new me says that you did a nice job!

Already received good feedback that I am in agreement with.

Go for the 1.0 or 1.5? They're adjustable.

Ok order made it 3 hours late but I think all is well and I just finished gluing. I'm just a little confused by the "Slime Time Monti Grafted Digitata" it was a bright red and green piece on the site but the whole thing just looks like a dull burgundy color as you can see? Is that how it is when the polyps are closed? (I'm a complete newb at SPS).

The first picture? That's a Stylophora, not a Digitata.

If you're talking about the 4th picture, I looks like a plain red - not a grafted. Not positive it's a Digitata but could be?

Yup the 4th one... its supposed to be a grafted Digitata, paid a premium for that. It's definitely the same one in the pic because of it's unique shape, just not sure if it's on it's way out or something.

I see, in this order:

Stylophora
Pocilopora
Birdsnest
Maybe Digitata

The grafted ones should have different colors in both flesh and polyps. Sometimes when stressed they brown out on the flesh So you may not see the different colors?

Maybe it just needs time to settle in?

Hopefully that's the case and we'll see how it looks over time. It was a very vivid green and red in the photos and I don't see a lick of green at the moment lol.
