Was just told my favorite Chinese buffet was closed because John Travolta is filming a movie there. It's the place im always posting the pictures of Chinese food from

That is kind of awesome to see that!

Question Tom if I may, don’t answer if I may not. Mine are active when I put food in but most of the time stay in the sand. I don’t have any bubble algae but I never have seen one on the rocks. Do your climb your rocks to eat algae?
Yes, they climb all over the rocks foraging. They seem to like bubble, turf, and bunch algae but others have also said GHA but I have not seen that behavior. Mine stay in the sand during the day unless they are real hungry. They also get lazy once in a while, I suspect after a nice Thanksgiving-size meal.

Just been a busy day at work which I really don't like on a Friday...
Well dang, sorry Amanda, you were so excited about it being Friday just this morning!

same here. I now have bubble a. but mine never climbed on the rocks really. they always navigated the bottom edge of the tank.
They can be hard to see on the rocks they kind of blend in and a lot of times the only way I see them is noticing a little movement from a claw. I've had one sitting on top of a flat rock not more than fifteen inches from my face and it took me five minutes or so to notice it.

you know, they sell basket/feather stars that no way will survive. which makes me wonder how they even survive when they get them in at their shop if no one immediately purchases them. I've tried dolabella twice. the first was a doa, the second lasted maybe 10 days.
Yeah, for instance, I'm pretty sure the purple with a white stripe and orange cerata is a sponge eater, only one or two species of sponge at that.

I have had no issues finding my Pitho. unless we are talking about something else. they are always under the sand until lights out or early morning. I'm not a total nerd watching through the night. usually I'm sending John inappropriate music videos when the tank lights are out.

yeah, how do they keep it alive? one thing I like about corals a is they have a really have a huge selection of macro that no one else has. one day I'll try them out and but a splurge of stuff. we are out of the cold ship issue now which is a plus.

Oh I'm still excited that is Friday just not a lot of time to celebrate it. Lol

So the brs beine shrimp hatchery was a resounding success! I added the water and eggs to it at about 10PM last night. I checked it at about 330 and had more brine shrimp than I could justify using in two tanks. This is just one little scoop of what hatched so far.
