Mandarins I don’t think get ich really. But any fish that tries to take a bite won’t live from the poison.

I read that they don't get ick and other diseases because of their slime coat. I was more talking about the coral beauty. In the picture it kind of looked like he or she had spots.

I have stuff in my water that does the same effect. but when you take a few pictures you can see it's not there. my purple tang really shows when something is in the water column.
since it's raining tomorrow, might do an LFS run and see if there's anything good in.

I love how active they are, they bring so much action and life to the tank but I haven't had long term success with them. Someone correct me but I think they need frequent feedings kind of like Anthias because they are so active?

The only "meat alternative" i'm ok with is a portabello mushroom burger because I just like portabello mushrooms, not trying to avoid meat.

We have a group in Oregon trying to pass a bill that would make hunting, fishing, and commercial agriculture effectively illegal in the state. What I don't understand is why they think it's unethical for humans to eat other animals, but don't apply the same logic to cougars, wolves, coyotes, eagles, fish, etc. To be consistent wouldn't they have to consider those all cruel too?
