So your saying to go with not to go with the air pump variety and go with the brs model ?
They do make air pumps that are super quiet. Mine sits on the cabinet beside my tank and I can't hear the pump over the tank.

Yes you can do that as well. I have one running on the 5 gallon tank in what use to be our home office but is now a pantry/aquarium supply room and I don't hear it either.

I bought a coris wrasse yesterday, was all excited, turns out hawkfish can eat a surprisingly large fish. I was sure it was to big for any of my aggressive fish to eat. This isnt the first fish he's killed. I wasn't him gone haha

For me this morning it was more like... I had bad dreams that kept waking me up so I'm dragging a bit this morning but the coffee will kick in soon.
Good Morning GIF

Sorry to hear that Amanda! I just couldn't fall asleep, took forever so I feel like I have a hangover 🥴😵‍💫

I laid on the couch with a heating pad (not on the whole time) until my son got up for work at 4:45. My wife woke up when I came back to bed. She very kindly brought the heating pad to our room and helped me get situated. Any kind of bending over or twisting at the waist is pretty painful. She woke me up at 8 so I could call the workman's comp specialist at work. That's done and I sent my documents to him. I have a follow up appointment Wednesday morning.

Sorry to hear that but if you ever have some work comp questions feel free to ask me (that's what I do). It's a maze to navigate, you're at the mercy of others.

I finally set mine up Saturday because the Springer Damsels are having trouble trying to eat the mysis, it is just too big for them. They do okay on the TDO but I wanted something other than pellets for them as well. They're loving the baby brine. I avoided raising brine for a long time because there are few sounds I dislike more than an air pump.
I completely agree. It gets to me and I cant sleep or concentrate lol. This may also have something to do with why Im an AOI guy and dont prefer sumps, the noise lol.

The baby brine have been such a nice addition to my tank. I do believe they're what got my leopard wrasse eating eventually and my springeri and pink streak wrasse like them more than almost anything else I need.
