I just put a rock in that had sponge on it as they have eradicated all the sponge I had . This is how he lays on his food lol !!

For anyone who is interested:

I saw all the talk about heaters, power failures and pump failures.

Here is a product I have used on my 300 gallon RO tank. It could be a good and semi-inexpensive solution for determining a pump failure. The company also makes other products that could be used for the hobby.

Have you used the one with the float? I have been wondering how much light needs to be on for the non-contact one to work. Thoughts?

I just love ragdoll cats. They think they own you and everything you have.

My husbands looks a lot like yours. They spend every morning together.

I read that they were originally bred in 1965, or close about, from a farm cat and Siamese cat. And a neighbor started to see potential in it due to the passive nature and looks of the kittens. I will have to see if I can find that again. That has been at least 10 years. I think the neighbor was a geneticist or some such occupation.

I do admit that she is very docile. But she will fight you. I clip our Sara's nails. She can even bite if she feels threatened. Mainly she is chill and the best cat we have ever had. Still a cat though. Still catches mice and birds. I know she shouldn't go outside. We need our dog door though. And she learned what it was in a matter of minutes.

Seems there is lots of myth and some truth in the beginnings of these beautiful cats. They do suggest not allowing them to go outside. I can't bring myself to tell Sara she has to stay inside. At least she rarely leaves our yard but to go next door. They have a boy who plays with her.

No complaints here! It's a little rainy, so no baseball practice today. So im listening to some 60s psych music and over feeding my tank this evening lol
