We had roast. Cooked slowly in the oven. With roasted potatoes and carrots. Gravy also. The roast was tender and very good. I generally don't like roast.

I had a 10 minute commute tops. Was able to come home for lunch.
That was me for 23 years, it was nice!

We had several inches of heavy wet snow. Mountain got close to a foot. Our weather has been nuts. I lost all my peaches. And apples and pears. Cherries didn't even bloom well. 😢
Same, many orchards lost their apples and strawberries as well.

Looks like I can grow a deciduous azaela in Wyoming. There is a bright orange one I may have to try.

I was saddened this morning by the death of the Royal Gramma in quarantine. Looked to be fine for over 2 weeks. Then dead this morning. Very disappointing and sad for the little guy.

Anyone have good luck with one? He was eating well and out swimming with the other fish. Totally unexpected. 😔
So sorry Shelley, that’s a gut punch! I had one, one of my first fish I put in in 2021. In the fall of last year its belly blew up like a balloon. Fish medics said it was either kidney or liver failure, no treatment. My current one is doing well but a lot more reclusive than my first.

@tbrown I believe someone mentioned you are a bit of a coffee snob. What is your coffee of choice?
Anything in a mug, honestly. I prefer hot usually, but I have been found with hot, iced, lukewarm, cold brew, cappuccino, latte, frappe, mocha, macchiato...

If I had to choose a favorite though:

Vietnamese egg coffee, home brewed
Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, fresh roasted to second crack, left to off gas for 18 hours and then ground and brewed, black
And the latte or mocha of choice is usually a Mexican Mocha but recently my favorite coffee shop had one they called an Orange Blossom Mocha - amazing!
And camp days - double shot of espresso sweetened with 8 oz of black coffee.
