Hi code4:, I saw that you were 5'4" and your husband is 6'1" so being a smart gal myself I figured out that you are another lady reef keeper! Do you only go by code4: or do you go by another name around here?

I was given Shelley at birth. But so many misspell my name. I answer to either. Code4 because I was an officer when I joined. Now retired.

What name do you prefer? There are a lot more ladies on here than years ago. I have been salty for 20 years. I first got into it because my husband wanted to. I told him it would be lots of work. Now he helps with water changes.

I think I agree mostly with you. Until I start stressing. I am prone to self induced stress.

But with the mollies in the tank willing to wait and monitor the two black ones. Today is their 4 th day in the tank.

And I do have chloroquine phosphate on hand.

On a good note, George, the injured anemone appears to be doing better today.

I played in tide pools from before I was in school. They are the best. But since my father was a career military guy we moved to much for pets. Then married military. Finally settled down and had to fill our home with them.

I tried covering him with a plexiglass square with about a 100 holes drilled in it. But he kept trying to escape and the clowns managed to get in with George anyway.

It's similar for sure! They're freshwater so they dont have that "saltwater taste". They really have a unique flavor, like shrimp, especially rock shrimp, crossed with a bit of snow crab, with a lobster like texture.

Of course we load them down with Cajun spices and garlic, so that's what they really taste like lol

My husband went gator hunting in FL last year. Has the gator shipped home. Has the gator mounted and meat came from the butcher. I tried two different recipes and the meat tasted like swamp
