Hello, I have had this bowl up and running for three months. It's for my sister after she moves, she picked the corals. Pulsing xenia, Kenya tree, finger laughter, gsp, pallys and zoas. Last piece will be a frogspawn and then let the bowl growout.

Awesome! I've always loved the idea of reefs in bowls. Never had the time to pull one off though. I struggle with the tanks I already have!
Would love to see pics :)

Would love to see picks of this!

Pretty cool! I would love to know more about the setup like filtration, lighting, water changes or anything else that you would like to share. :)

The bowl is low maintenance, no dosing.

I have an adjustable 80gph pump on the side for flow, under substrate betta heater, and a par 30 bulb over the tank.

I do just about 100% water changes every other week, trying for every week.

The corals are very small frags or a couple polyps each so it's not too crowded and there's room to grow. The live rock is close to a pound and a half. I didn't want to pack the tank full of rock, so there's a decent amount of open space for the size. I also have a few macros in the bowl.

My sister will have this tank so all the corals are very easy (sometimes pests). I do plan on making a sps bowl for myself soon and get my fluvul spec V going too.

Hopefully the picture worked, I'm on my phone till the computer is fixed.

Awesome! Looks really peaceful.
Do you find the curved glass distorts the view much?

Love it

How is that rock mostly blue

I love it!! It looks perfect!! :)

Sweet pico!

I think the rock is blue because of the bulb he has over it? Just guessing... :)

It looked like sympodium or sponge overgrowth
