I just recieved a convict tang and i truly couldnt be happier. I have never received a fish or coral packaged better than this tang, very professional and very clean. I was nervous about ordering a convict tang as i had many reports on them having some semblance of “failure to thrive” often due to being collected with cyanide. I contacted dr reef who quickly replied and we were aboe to get a healthy fish for me. So healthy infact that it was picking algae off the rocks within 10 minutes and eating pellets within 30. My tank is full now, but when i do have room for more fish/tanks i know who i will be contacting!

Sorta a picky eater the first couple days and definitely shy, mostly sticking right next to my gyre and swimming in the highest flow areas. He has settled down and is holding its own with my chocolate just fine.

Took a while to get a photo of him, been elk hunting/game processing the last week. Taking off for a week of mule deer hunting tomorrow, hoping the fish sitters can keep up with his appetite!
