Dear all,

I'm Tim from the Netherlands, new to this forum. I decided to share my reeftank here. A few years ago I started with a nano tank and after half a year advanced to an aquamedic cubicus tank (mixed reef). Recently I started my 440 liter cube tank.. and decided to go for easy/medium to keep sps. I am a great fan of using kalkwasser combined with vinegar (great fan of randy) I am currently using kalkwasser on a dosing pump because I experienced a few failures with my top-off system. Sometimes I do a waterchange with blue treasure salt (high in mg) and make corrections with ballingsalts when needed.

Current mix: 4 liters RODI / 1tsp calciumhydroxide / 15ml vinegar

Old & new tank

Still have to do changes some things. the rockwork needs to be secured with cement though.. the durso changed into a pipe-in-pipe herbie. And the oceanrunner needs be replaced for a new jecod dcs4000 (noisy & some parts are missing.. bit risky).. everything is second hand stuff I collected & traded in a few years. Sump:

Another update; I added a few corals and a cubicus fish. A bit risky, but I believe I can provide a nice environment for this fish. Ample of swimming space and friendly fish.
