I've been helping my students (7th & 8th grade) to design and build the stand for a 100 gallon cube tank that a local reefer was kind enough to donate to us. What a big project it has been!

They have a previous tank. A different group of kids helped me build the 29 gallon setup a few years ago. We will be putting the cube in the same location, to replace the 29.

The old tank had a closed loop with a chiller, some powerheads with a wave maker for flow, a 150 watt metal halide pendant, and live rock. Pretty simple, really. My students do the water testing, and dose ca, alk and mag by hand when needed.
I'll update later with pictures from the new build, as I figure out how to post them.

@mistyash kudos to you and the students!

All are beautiful and this has to be self-rewarding to all involved.

Thank you for sharing the glory and please pass on to your students that they did one heckuva a job here.

We are still looking to buy an auto topoff and a skimmer.
I have a skimmer. I think it might work? Look and see. I don't really know much about it. It came with our new tank.

This has not been cleaned yet. FREE if you pay shipping. (I'll clean it first) works like new, no cracks.

I knew you were being sneaky but kind to provide them with something. :)

Can anyone ID what model this is? I think either a 110 or 150?

Don't quote me but it looks similar to an Octo Extreme 150 I had some time back.

EDIT: except the pump is larger than what I had?
