@Fin many thanks for the kind words!, its my little dream tank just a big battle on aiptasia right now how i struggle to win

Have a great weekend my friend

Fish food evening here
Made this blend the last year and my fishes love it spice it up with much algae ,reef roids, goniopowder, calanidae, zooplan, so a treat for most of the citizens of the tank 5A74FAC9-C45F-4A50-B81F-D1C460ACE62E.jpeg 5544197B-B2DC-4470-8991-44BCB858C10E.jpeg F860AD29-7FBD-47B1-BF8A-D03E8C76AA25.jpeg 21AB60B4-E78B-434D-BEC1-1ACA962DC894.jpeg

Triton will stop 10 litres jars and change it for 5 litres and my consumption is ca 110ml of each elements a day
So to cut down I thinking to put a reactor I have but never used wait for the co2 bottle but the rest I have hopefully
And perhaps can save a bit in the elements
I am not sure to pull or push the water into reactor? Any advise is welcomed 792BC60F-08DA-41C2-92FE-57108ABCBDCA.jpeg 70A8A1A0-AFD7-4D38-876E-2C2E0BD3CBA6.jpeg

And the brand new KZ reactor have a serious leak in the weld on the top

This tank is awesome! Love it! Very well-done. My FOWLR 500 is tough enough, I couldn't imagine the equipment to keep SPS in it!

Put a second chamber today
Sure be interesting if it benefit anything for the tank

Great build I also was having a battle with aiptasia. Added a copperband and it sorted it in a few days

I have read to always pull from the calcium reactor since some peristaltic pumps are strong enough to rupture a reactor if the output line were to become blocked.

Your system looks amazing, I love the fish room!

I need to make room to have a refugium like that! I wonder with the triton method and the calcium reactor, do you really still need to do water changes often?

Please keep up the updates, seeing your system is a pleasure

Thanks for comment , for the time i push into the reactor but no restrictor and 8mm outline from the degasser but it sure makes sense to pull instead.
I just use water changes to have some water to acclimate new livestock and to help bring NO3 who is little high, But Triton is really nice to chasing numbers:-)

Hi Tobbe great build. Learned few things.

How do you find the Maxspect blocks vs the regular marinpure ones? Do they leach anything like the marinpure does Alumnium?

But maxspect don’t impact al at all but I haven’t se any benefits of em yet
