120 Gallon Salty Condo

Things are pretty good so far. I have seen the Blenny eating pellets off of the bottom of the tank and I just saw two of the three Anthias eat for the first time. One of the Anthias has pop eye pretty bad on one eye but is one that I observed eating so I'm not too worried. The Blenny has a ton of personality and is hilarious to watch. As soon as I can snap a photo I will because the Blenny has a really cool blue'ish/white'ish pattern down its sides. The Anthias are gorgeous as well. I'm happy with my choice, especially with never seein them previously!

Thanks guys. Hope to post photos in the next few days. Today was a huge improvement with them all actually coming out and swimming.

Updated Photos. Added 3 polyps of Eagle Eye Zoas, frag of Nuclear Green Zoas, accidentally split the Frogspawn in half while attempting to move it (now I got two :der:), and added a superman mushroom. Moved a bunch of stuff around to accommodate the additions. I'm happy with how things look in their new locations, now if they would just be happy. Also added a photo of the anthias and Bob the Blenny, which have just over a week to go in the QT! They are all eating great, can't wait to move them to the DT.

Made some frags on accident of the green monti as well. Glued them all on to one frag plug for now because that's all I had.

Looks very good Ryan

Thanks Genesis. This is my first reef so I'm learning as I go. Learned this round that moving corals isn't as easy as it sounds especially if you glued them down really good. Haha

Looking sweet Ryan, that foxface is getting huge man. Can't wait to see it in person again over the weekend.

Thanks B. Yeah, the Foxface is beginning to worry me a bit that I might have to sell it because its about to outgrow the tank. It's one of my favorites, and I hate to get rid of it, but I also don't want it to be unhappy.

I don't imagine he would get too much bigger, could of course be very wrong.

According to LA the one spotted (which I have) needs a 70 or larger tank. Maybe I'll be ok??? We could always fillet him! Lol. Not.

Your one spot would be too big for a 70, looks good in your 120 though.
I agree about the 70. I watched it flick it's tail once and it shot off like a rocket and almost smashed into the other side of the tank. I'd love to see it in a 6 or 8 foot tank and see how fast it really is.

Beautiful build.

Thank you!

That monti has grown a lot since the last time I saw it (which I think was when we did the meeting at your house.)

The red one is growing really, really well. That is the ONLY coral in my tank that has never been moved. It's finally starting to ledge itself, one piece over the other which is what I have been waiting for. Once it grows out towards that green leather a little more I'll have to start fragging it so it doesn't shade it. That's when you'll get a piece of it if you are still interested. I hope the purple one next to it keeps growing as well so that eventually I'll have them covering that whole rock. I have a vision in my head, hope the corals agree and follow the plan. LOL

I love this tank. Foxface are awesome fish.

Thank you. Foxy is my favorite of all the fish. It's a must have in every one of my tanks!
