Very Sadly, I had an Aefw infestation, I dipped and removed pieces and even completely ripped out one or two pieces as well as dosing flatworm stop. Alas the dreaded FW moved from piece to piece and the final straw led me to rip out all my acro. Very sad. I will now continue with the other corals with the tentative plan of restocking acro down the line somewhere.

That sucks. The thing with acro is it is the most expensive, Yet the most challenging and the one to likely die off if any issues arise.

Added a frag tank slash coral observation slash shrimpgoby setup and bought one Acro frag to test for AEFW.
Growth of all other animals well. Got a powder brown tang and moved across a purple tang. Replacing the tangs I had as they were getting too big.
Bought a aiptasia file fish, swapped out a flame wrasse that transitioned male and fought with my existing alpha male.

Had a vortech mp40 burn out at the controller which was disturbing. Changed the sump to a refugium which is now rocking.

Things have been trucking along nicely,
I sold my large magnifica anemone due to it taking over the tank. I have been slowly adding carefully dipped and QT'd sps frags over the last few months. In the frag tank I have changed things to BB and gone with a gigantea anemone and 2 fiji Chrysopterus.
I have upped the feeding (which I believe has really helped my coral coloration) and taken the refugium light off line and gone for a cryptic sump for several reasons

1. less mess!
2. Coraline algae growth was consuming far too much 2 part and with increased coral growth it was becoming unmanageable
3. Undesirable cyano was forming in the sump and cheato growth had stopped.

I put my uv back online and fish health has improved. I am battling something with the fish not sure what though. They are fed well so are able to stave off whatever is troubling them.

I will aim to get pics but I am terrible at this area of the hobby!
