As a noobie when I got my 120 I had no idea what I did not know but after 15 months or so with it I am ready for a bigger tank with more possibilities. In the interest of full disclosure I’ll say that there’s no way I would ever pay thousands on just a tank but now I hear the advise my mom used to tell me all the time: “lo barato resulta caro” loosely translated “cheap **** will get expensive”. Enter the 180 “upgrade”.

Good looking. Just keep those shades behind the tank closed or you'll likely be fighting algae in the tank.

Good luck with the new tank.

Congrats on the upgrade. I think 180 is the best size tank ever. I have one :D

I moved all the rock into the new tank. Aqua-scape Shmaqua-scape just rack’em and stack’em baby! Well sorta anyway I arranged them in a way where the fish can swim through them from one side of the tank to the other, I even placed some 4” PVC as tunnels. They are already doing it, I get a kick out of watching them go in on one side and pop out almost anywhere.

It turns out that I suck at updating, I'm doing it now because of the reminder message that we all (I think) got.

So the move is complete I've covered my stand. Everything is doing good although I did get RTN on my beautiful mont-icap then I made it worse trying to save it in a hastily set-up QT tank I lost the complete colony.
