Making progress.
Chiller and UV arrived.
-9KW heat pump which is 9kw heating, 4.5kw cooling.
-Pentair 150w UV.
Have plumbed them in with bypass loops, inside portion not connected as waiting on tank / sump, fittings for the 2" flow meter. Plan is to run at 2600-3000lph which should be optimal flow for the UV and sufficient for the chiller to run on.
The tank will be on other side of that wall. Need to wait on electrician to finish off the electrical work. That should happening soon.
My fish plans will be on hold, ended up with cyno in the IBC, treated with chemiclean and lost most of my fish - left with purple tang, stripy, mandorin and rabbitfish. Lost my chromis, clowns, sailfin, mimic, powder brown, tomni, whitetail bristletooh, tailspot blenny and zebra eel. Absolutely devastated. We will rebuild once the tank is in. I think there was a bunch of cyno on the IBC walls that I mistook for the usual slime you would clean off your glass and had a far bigger die off than you normally would. Used chemiclean few times in the past with no issues, and this time i increased flow and put an air stone in. It all occurred in a 8-10hr window. I was able to do a 200L water change followed by a 600L later that day after I collected some NSW.
I've had an A8 Pro Max iii light arrive today, will test it out and see how it performs, so far it seems to work well, colour is good and much more to my liking. Cost $545 AUD landed, Current price on a radion is $1800 AUD.
