The difference of my schedule compared to SPS AB is a longer lighting period. 12 hours lighting period, 1 hour ramp up, 2 hours ramp down. The first 4 hours after ramp up. The whites, red, and green are at 35%. Then it will ramp down to SPS AB in 30 minutes. SPS AB runs for 5 hours. Then ramp down 2 hours of UV Blue Royal Blue at 100%. Intestity for 12 hours is set at 100%. This so far worked for my tubs that are almost 4'X4' with 2 Radion Pro G3 per tub. Fixtures are 14" above water line. Acro's base are sitting 12" under the water line. You just have to play around what works best for your acros. Not all system and tank dimensions are the same. There is a fellow reefer near me that was also having problems with his acros STNing at the base using the SPS AB schedule. I advised him to up the whites, red, and green. His acros responded much better.
As for your shallow frag tank. SPS AB might work since you can hang the lights lower and it's not that deep. Just have to play around and find the sweet spot.

My water parameters are
1.024-1.025 sg (refractometer)
ALK 8.3-8.6 dKH (testing almost daily salifert test)
CA 430 to 450 (salifert test)
MG 1390 to 1410 (salifert test)
K 390 to 420 (red sea test)
Sr really low
I2 .03-.06 (red sea test)
NO3 0 (red sea test)
PO3 0 (hanna egg checker)
I'm sure there are nitrates and phosphates in the water. My chaeto tub and biopellets just sucks it up. I do have some minor algae growth here and there.

RO/DI top off post DI resin up to 6 TDS. I will change the DI resin once it hits 6.

Water temp currently since it's hot is bouncing around 81 degrees F to 83.5 degrees F.
During winter the temp is around 78 -79 degrees F

This is just incredible! Any update on this system?
Not much really. Just added BashSea MadRack in the frag tank. Freed up lots of space. Now I can move smaller colonies from the tubs and buy more larger colonies.

Are you still using the "black box" LEDs if so what % are you running the blues and whites, how long you run them for and how high off the water.

Yes I still use the 165W MarsAqua for the frag tank and quarantine tub. The fixtures are roughly 14" above the waterline. Light period is 10 hours for both channels. Blues at 100% and whites 10%. Using a SenEye meter, the PAR is roughly in the 300s just below the waterline.

What are you using for random flow in that frag tank? It's hard to tell but it looks like a gyre is down in the bottom part of the picture.

New colonies in the quarantine tub. Picachus, rainbow millies, teal millies, tenuis, and selagos. Will see how these color up.

Just a Gyre 130 pulse mode on one end and a Koralia Evo 600 on the other.

That's awesome, glad to see the gyre is working so well for you on your frag tank. I have a gyre 150 in pulse mode in my frag tank and the corals in it look better than the ones in my display. I mean they look happier with the flow, so much so that it makes me want to set up a shallow reef of my next tank with a single gyre on one end instead of vortech pumps.
