My 14 gallon cube w/ D.I.Y. sump.

Reef.jpg

Aquarium is a Aqueon 14g Cube with a Lumini Pixie 30 for lighting and Jebao SLW-10 for flow.

The sump is a 10 gallon DIY setup. For filtration I use Reef Diaper disposable filter socks and SCA-301 skimmer .
Jebao DP-2 for dosing All for Reef and RODI water top off. Eheim CompactOn 1000 for return, and Eheim Jager with Inkbird ITC-306A WIFI controller.
The refugium is lit with ACKE led grow light. RODI water is produced by AQUATICLIFE 50 gallon four stage system.

I keep my Salifert test kits organized in Husky Connect organizer. The one thing every Reefer should be using is 35ppt (1.026sg) Refractometer Calibration Solution, using RODI water should be a crime.

So, I caught this guy red handed. I had a superman mushroom disappear along with the rubble it was attached to. I suspected is was him. And, his attempt to steal the frogspawn frag kind of confirms it.

I have also been busy designing parts with Tinkercad... 16665104061496209468961993164550.jpg

And, have made my first test prints. IMG_20221022_180019.jpg IMG_20221022_180049.jpg

I had played around with 3D printing years ago, but ended up just getting frustrated. My rekindled affair with reefing, has also lead to me dragging out the printer. My plan is to make a ATO that uses the 24v port on the Apex to control a solenoid on my RODI system with 3 optical water level sensors.

Thanks you Reef Breeders and R2R for the awesome prize. I used the gift certificate to purchase the Photon 48-V2, Reef Nexus upgrade module, and CoralBox D300 Plus.

Today the Trigger Systems Crystal Sump 36(blemished) arrived. A little over 2 days from ordering. If this is what they consider blemished, their none blemished sumps must be impeccable. A little over $250 after taxes and shipping, arrived well packaged.

Came home after work this morning and felt like being extra productive. I got the Reef Breeders Photon V2, that came from the raffle, hung. And, moved in my DIY 2x4 stand.

Then moved in my Petco 50% sale 75 gallon into the house. Got lucky and found one that isn't tempered, it is painted and drilled with a Eshopps overflow.
