Hi all. I plan on getting a predator saltwater tank.
I want
A porc puffer
Enigmatic moray eel
Foxface
Gold rim tang

Recommendations needed! No lions or scorpions, the only one I like is radiant but its hard to keep...

nope, 6'x24"x18".
Oh ok so it’s essentially the footprint of a 180 gallon I’d say you’ll be fine with the fish you want. Just make sure you’ve got plenty of filtration that porc is a eating machine lol.

Are you interested in triggerfish? Theres a ton that would go great in with those fish!

I cannot recommend enough a picasso, or humu trigger. They are super personable and do very well with other large fish.

And what about panther groupers? Love these guys and willing to do a species onlyish tank
The panther will be fine, finding one that not big enough to be eaten by a porcupine when you find it is the hard part. I commonly see panthers come in at 2 inches or less. Usual size of porcupines is 4inches at least when they come in. But once one is too big to be eaten by the other, they would do just fine together.

Triggers you want to stay away from are:

Undulated trigger- Species only tank trigger, murder machines as adult. Just google them.
Clown trigger- Can be a good one, but there are horror stories, temperamental as adults
Queen trigger- dont even try it
Titan trigger- the name speaks for itself
Blue Line trigger- Found these to be very aggressive, even as 3-4 inch juveniles.

Good ones:
Niger trigger- very affordable community trigger
Red tail trigger- Same just not as cheap
Blue throat trigger- Same, cheaper than red tail though
Cross hatch trigger- Expensive, good community trigger
white tip trigger- cheap, not as colorful but make very nice fish as adults
Humu trigger- cheap and very colorful, good with other larger fish, can be a bully in some cases, but rarely.

Not sure about the assassin, but I have the other three together in a fish only. Along with a magnificent foxface, dogface puffer, mangrove snapper, cherry grouper, and an atlantic pinfish.

Do not mix the box fish and puffer! A panther grouper and naso will get too big. And the garden eel will be a snack for the puffer.
