I started this tank in Dec 2012. I didnt take any pictures during the build but I wish I had for this thread. I been in the game since 2001 with a 75g and I always dabbled with extra nano tanks. I think I must of had one in every room except the bathroom where you would think that would be the best room for one.

This tank is a 15g tall 20x10x18. I built the stand and canopy and spray painted it black. I painted the back of the tank blue. Ive been cycling it with dry fiji rock for three months now. Its getting some good coralline growth and lots of pods. Livestock comes next week.
Lighting: Marineland 18" reef LED with supplemental attinic led strip.
Filtration: skilter 250. I modded the skimmer with an air stone. It eliminated the micro bubbles entering the tank. I also added a Fluval surface skimmer.
Circulation: koralia 450 with smart wave controller.
Heating: 50w via aqua titanium heater with temp probe and controler.

This is my first LED lighted tank. Its kind of an experiment to see if I want to use them on my larger tank. This tank will have Invertibrates and corals with high lighting needs.
