175 Gallon. Worth it?

There is a gentleman in my home town selling this setup. I want it as a garage/large marine fish tank. Is this worth what he is asking? The Hydras are three years old. See list below. He also has a bunch of misc stuff .

I have Tank plus stand with all rock sand and coral $100

2 AI hydra 64hd lights $350 each

Fluval FX6 canister filter $150

Blue tang Dorey $70

Sail fin tang $40

Fire fin tomini tang $40

Scopas brown tang $40

Yellow wrasse $30

Yellow tail wrasse. $30

3 clown fish $20 each

Or take everything for $1,000

The 64s do retail for 759 though...

Tank was professionally resealed 2.5 years ago. Whether the professional is legit or not is in the air.

Haha well, the fact that it has the big freaking brace across the top actually makes me feel pretty good about the tank, given that it was sealed 2.5 years ago and based on the waterline in the pics you sent it SEEMS like it's level.

I don't hate this deal at all. What's the situation with the tank as it's set up? Does it look more or less healthy? Are you inheriting any major pest issues?

Or offer to buy the lights if he gives you everything else.

And I might go for the 1K if he throws in the stuffed kitty, but I think you can get it all for 6 hundred and both of you should be happy. Let him sell the fish and keep the money if you don't want to keep them?

The tank has serious hair algae that he hasn’t been able to get rid of in a year and Dinos. I’m not worried about it though as it will be a secondary tank that won’t be seen by public much.

I was gonna offer $400 and a handgun I don’t care for. I also want a few of the fish but have already found buyers for the ones I don’t.
