Close call last night. My large carpet leather started wandering and crawled up onto the front glass. While I was watching he lost his grip and went floating the length of the tank like a dandelion caught in the breeze. As this was happening I rushed to grab the gripper I use to feed clams and got the lid off the tank just in time to use it to keep the anemone from being pulled up to my powerhead. As I was holding it away with the gripper, I had to reach into my pocket to grab my iPhone and use the Apex app to put my pumps in feed mode. That gave the anemone time to settle to the bottom of the tank and get a grip with its foot. I hate to think what would have happened if I hadn't been standing there.

Good thing for the iPhone App! sorry to hear the anemone is giving you a run for your money. Hopefully it will settle soon.

We'll see how this goes, birthday gift. I've pretty much decided I am better at fish than coral anyway. FOWSC ?:p.

Gorgeous addition. Has it taken over as the king of the tank yet?

Not king yet, but it pretty much ignores everyone. I have a large Naso tang in there too. I haven't seen any aggression at all with the new addition. The emperor seems to be really fond of Nori.

That's really cool man. Emperor is my favorite fish. Really need to swing by and check it out now.

I woke up this morning with my carpet anemone wrapped around my powerhead. Sigh. I turned it off and carefully pulled it apart. It's attached itself to the sand bed again. It was a little beat up.

Well they are in. I ended up just leaving a quarter inch gap in the back.

See! You are becoming a diy guy! Good job. You might want to turn your lights down a bit.
