I’m upgrading to a 180 gal tank and am looking for wave makers and heaters on Amazon (since it’s prime day and can save a couple dollars so why not?)

I read on google that I’m supposed to have 3-5 watts per gallon for a heater. But that would mean I need like a 600 watt heater which looks MASSIVE on the internet.

1. For those with larger tanks, do you have one higher watt heater?
2. Do you keep it in the display or the sump?
3. Should I be worried about it cooking a fish if one gets too close to it?
4. Or do you have two smaller heaters?

5. Does anyone have a Hygger wave maker?
6. Is the Hygger brand any good?
7. Reviews say that they move a ton of water and are super strong, even on the lowest setting, should I be worried at it being too strong?

1) dual Finnex 800w
2) sump
3) unlikely, but don't put it in the DT
4) two smaller heaters will not maintain appropriate temp if one fails
5) not I
6) no comment
7) what do you plan on keeping?

I’d like to keep LPS, softies, anemones, and macroalgae

Kind of going for this kind of vibe, for something a little different

I wouldn't be concerned about those powerheads putting out too much flow for a 180. I'll defer to someone more familiar with them, though.
