I have an older 180 gallon oceanic reef ready aquarium. These tanks came with a large 3 piece center brace. The brace consists of 2 -7 1/2" pieces of glass in the center of the tank seperated by a small plastic devider than a 15" wded piece of glass under that making all 3 pieces 1 large 1/2" piece of glass. The current proble that I have is that moisture has worked its way between the panes of glass and is blocking a lot of light. I made 2 - 2" wide stainless steel praces that will span from the front of the tank to the rear to replace the current brace, but my problem is that I do not know how to remove the existing center brace from the tank. (The tank is still full of water)
I am looking for any ideas on how to remove this center brace. :squigglemouth:
