Did you ever make the change on this? I currently have one. I bought the freshwater version to save money since I had this light from a previous tank, and I am mostly happy with it. I don't know if I crank lights up to +50% if it is going to overwhelm or not. I have an algae spike right now, so I have all lights cut to ~10% at peak, and lights on for ~7 hours with no white light.

I just started some corals in my QT and would love to see what success others have had with this similar setup.
