Calcium is low at around 300 hence the main reason for switching brands to keep it up, I do weekly water changes at half gallon in the 6 gallon nano. Actual water volume with live rock and sand at about 5 gallon. So will see how it goes once I dise with Esv thogu. Thanks

Regardless of the brand, and assuming that is not a measurement error, I'd suggest bringing it up over a few days with a one time correction. Then go back to normal calcium and alkalinity dosing. :)

Could be a measurement error but also an outdated kit perhaps, I just order the Red Sea kit for calcium alk and mag.
It just arrived so will test tomorrow with an update.

I forgot what brand my lfs uses but it's pretty decent as far as visually seeing the corals response. My other test kit must have been crap/old because
Red Sea shows my calcium at 430 and Mag at 1400 alk will retest it today because I screwed up. So far so good but hoping once Esv bionic gets here
I will visually see a much better response in my tank.
