Welcome! This is the best place to gain information. Equipment needed will depend on what you're looking to raise.

Hello and welcome. Keep it simple. If it ain't broke don't fix it. My mistakes came from not checking with this forum before making changes etc.

20 Gallon High Tank

4 Power Heads

Seachem Tidal 35 Filter

1 Heater

All My Corals are growing With 2 Coralife Clip On Reef Lights

1 Bag of Poly-fil

Small Jar Seachem Matrix Carbon

A Few Mesh Mags For carbon And Poly-fil

A Few Golf Ball Size Reef Rocks To Hold Carbon And Poly-fil Down

10 pound Bag CaribSea Marine Substrate

About 8 Gallons of Base White Rock

A Few Small Rocks and Substrate From An Old Seasoned Tank

1/4 Inch Cut Foam Workout Mat To Go Under The Tank

2 Ounces of Fritz Fishless Fuel

Small Bottle of Dr. Tim's Marine Bacteria

Bag of Reef Crystals Salt

Walmart Distilled Water

The fish will scatter currents coming from the power heads.

Water Test Kit

Hope this helps. Good Luck

Welcome to R2R! Having a search around some of the member tank setups may help you see what you might like. Considering my budget I started with a Fluval Evo 13.5, but honestly for what I have put into upgrading it probably could have started with a bigger setup.
