Update added a new light I had my kessil a80s turned up all the way in the beginning it was more then enough now I definitely need more light so I added an ai prime

I’m currently at 5 months and just added an ai prime I really licked the a80s and a 3rd one would of been fine but I got a good deal on a new ai prime and the extra light blends really well

this is my o the current project might start another thread depending on how this 20 gallon one goes and I spent a total of 400 to start this tank including rocks and fish the 20 gallon tank coral more money lol

Thanks I had a cyaona/Dino problem in the beginning that lasted a good 90 days I’m just comming out the other side with a bit of diatoms hopefully I’ll get some coralline to start taking over

First pic you can see it really bad on the back wall and the second picture is after I went with a black out method and a small tang/ I don’t recommend adding a tang to a 20 gallon unless you have somewhere for it to go in 6 months a year they definitely grow slower in a smaller tank but we don’t want to stunt there growth either but I was never good a picking out a good cuc especially for bare bottoms if anyway has any good cucs for bare bottoms please let me know !!!

Just doing an update pretty much all the sps will find its way to the 425xl but here’s some of the new stuff I got the large colony is tangerine dreams and the other branch is tgc orange creamsicle and on the frag rack is jf homewrecker Bkchem fruit loops from Tusi. 2 no names that’s it’s for the new sps will do an update soon the rest of the tank

The one thing I really like about these small tanks is they can look so full even when full of frags

Just an update having a hard time growing coraline corals fine parameters a real head scratcher never had this problem before but also never went bare bottom
