If it isn’t you should be fine, but I would still check laws again before you do just to be safe.
FWC is pretty strict. I'm almost positive mangroves are cool, but if it's from a protected area it may not. I know live rock isn't okay to harvest not saying you are just giving an example. Research FWC regs before taking anything imo @NoahLikesFish

Same. I’d have to cut metal to use the hob too. What I will prob do is get balsa wood to make a frame custom and then use it and get some mesh from brs
Balsa wood no. Get the plastic window frame stuff.

If nicrew is anything like it is in freshwater it sucks
Nicrew lights do not suck in freshwater. I have had one on my 20g long for over 6 months now, and it’s an absolute beast:

The nicrew actually has good reviews for freshwater. It is cheap but effective and I have talked to many people who have used it and was recommended it for my planted tank. It just doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that the more expensive lights have.
But by that logic, getting a cheaper light for a marine tank, even if it seems as effective, is not the best idea.
It definitely doesn’t have all the bells and whistles say a Fluval light has, but it is very effective.

Nicrew lights are especially good for people trying to stay on a tight budget, *hint hint* @NoahLikesFish...
