I am planning my 210 reef tank upgrade. I am wondering if i am overdoing the filtration system. This is my plan:
- Reef Octopus Regal 250 skimmer - https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/regal-250int-10-internal-protein-skimmer-varios-reef-octopus.html
- 30 Gallon refugium w/ 3x mangroves, 3x shaving brush plants, and 3x mermaid fan planted in refugium mud
- Seachem Matrix rocks in the inlet
- Carbon reactor
- Algae Scrubber - https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/cw-200-external-algae-scrubber-clear-water.html
Is this too much? Or should i cut it down? What about algae scrubbers?

Sounds fine if you have a large bio load. You may find that the macros and mangroves slowly starve without a significant bio load. That skimmer is a good one, but could exacerbate the problem.
Maybe your plan is a good one if implemented over time as you add inhabitants

A certain amount of rock, an efficient skimmer and a little bit of elbow grease is really all you need IMO. Keep it simple. GL.
