Both burnt out within seconds of being turned on. My bro has one and its been good, but about 10months in a ballast just blew for one set of the bulbs. Nice looking light though, very sleek.

I have noticed people reporting ballast issues with dimmable fixtures regardless of brand. It was my intention to get a non dimmable fixture. Apparently they have less ballast issues.

Yes I use the Fauna Marin color elements once a week the day after water change, I am changing to Aquaforest in about 8 weeks when they are available in Australia.

Dimmable is a waste, we never dimmed the tubes but had the fixture that could. Why against a sunpower? they smash the Matrix in PAR - almost double.

Mind if I ask who's bringing the product in?

I'm not really against the sunpower it's just that the Giesemann is much nicer aestheticly and aesthetics play a big part in my build. The Giesemann is just so much more attractive than the ATI.

An aquarium should make a statement in your home..inside and out...that was the goal for this tank
IMG_1055.jpg

IMG_1051.jpg

Moved the scape to the left by about 5cm...just for more light coverage on the tips of the scape

Two weeks growth from snipping this blue stag!
IMG_1091.jpg

And the fav inhabitant...such a show off
IMG_1104.jpg

Another show off..feeds from my hand whenever its in the tank

Feeding...

Took out the PAR meter today, measurements are roughly at the midpoint of the corals...tubes are about 6 weeks old - 4B+, 2C+, 1ABS, 1FP

Getting insane growth right now so something must be right! Its at the point where im counting down days for the corals to encrust to a reference point

Calcium @ 80ml a day, Alk @ 120ml a day - PO4 0.01, Alk 6.4, Cal 430

Good point! I guess thats why I really like this light so much....so my light schedule is full lights for 4hours - BUT, I ramp up banks of two tubes at a time. Light schedule is

7am - 9pm - 2 x B+
10am - 8pm - B+ FP
12pm - 6pm - 2 x C+
1pm - 5pm - B+ and ABS

So majority of my viewing time is 4 B+ and a FP
