Bummer but I can see how they mixed up Texas with North Carolona.
Yeah I have no idea how that happen and I don't think they do either. I sent an email asking if it would be easier for me to pick out a new piece of driftwood or what. Sounds like they are first going to see if the people that received it will drop it off at a fedex store so it can be sent to me. I'm not sure how well that will work.

Ugh. Sadly, I lived in Long Island for 5 years. I cannot stand Billy Joel any more.

How about this for honesty. I have been thinking about Pattie Boyd a lot. I guess because I have been listening to a ton of George Harrison and Derek and the Doninoes.

Yeah, I bet he is playing these days on........every elevator in New York! Billy Joel that is!

The very first planed I ever did I ran hair grass, it started to spread then just stalled. To be fair, I was running a crappy light and no co2 on that tank. I'm trying to decide what I want to carpet on this tank, hair grass or baby tears. I've never had much luck with baby tears but now it's just a challenge and stubbornness not excepting defeat.

Here's another good "carpet" option:

I think this thread may get some legs and @revhtree will have to branch out shall we say to P2P. I for one am liking the possibility!
I think it would be to even have just freshwater section on r2r.

I personally like the look of the hair grass better......does take more work though. You definitely need some decent lighting and CO2 for it to thrive though......ferts definitely help also :) Here are a couple more of mine.....

Couldn't do much with this one....the Piranha kept tearing the plants out.....

I've been watching a bunch of YouTube videos on aquascaping and capturing images of the different styles of scapes - here are a few examples for the benefit of the creative engine:

I pretty much like all of those, except maybe one. My tank will sit in a corner and only have two viewing panels. Now let me just say I have no graphics design skill or software so you get paint. Basically the tallest elevation in the tank in the back corner with the mangroves surrounding it. then a little more elevation in the other corner. I may leave the front corner just gravel and have a baron area with no plants there. I have a vision in my head just hard to put down.

Nice tanks - do you dose CO2 to all of them? What ferts do you use? Maintenance schedule? I'll be working on a planted tank as well, so it'd be nice to hear what works...

all of these planted tanks make me want a shrimp tank for my office...the rabbit holes we fall down.. I think i have watched one too many youtube videos on fish tanks
I don't think you can watch too many, we just call it educational and it sounds like we are being productive.

Guy on facebook is selling this stuff, I’ve read it’s fairly rare and a slow grower and he said the same. He wants $60 for 5 clippings, does that seem high? Or am I just cheap? )rotala ramsoir florida)

Tissue cultures are a great way to get an abundance of plants for a good price:
