Yes...1250 watts of other heaters could not heat ...but 800 finnex does the job!

You should at least to a fw dip also parasites do not attach to inverts but there is always a slight chance one gets through so fw dip should do it

how long?Yes fresh water should not harm them the parasites are not dying either you are just stunning them long enough that they fall off and stay in the fw
