25g Plumbing

Hello I’m looking for some knowledge on plumbing. The pump I’m using is a s2. Sump is a triton 26. Tank is innovative marine 25g ext. I had a custom stand made for the tank and im
Currently plumbing it. Would the set up I have now work efficiently? The bulk head is 3/4 but my sump inlets are 1in. I was going to run a soft line from pump to sump inlet. Then go to 1 in from the sump to the return to 3/4 at the bulk head. Please let me know if you’d do it a different way or have pics of a set up that would be helpful. Want to make sure everything is 100% before I drill the hard wood top. Thanks!

Not seeing any valves, bud. Or unions. If you're gonna hard plumb (pvc), put some unions in before every elbow.
If that pump isn't dc, definitely put a valve on it. And don't skimp! If you can afford it, get the 60 dollar gate valves from brs or even Amazon. Avoid the Home Depot 5$ ball valves.
Think of plumbing like a coon trap piece by peice it fits fine, but one it's put together and glued, then the saw has to come out...

I have 6 unions, 2 ball valves and check valve. I’m asking about the return. I didn’t know if putting a flex tube to hard plumbing that is 1 in then to the bulk head that is 3/4 in if I had have any flow issues

Depending on direction of flow, there will be a slight increase in pressure due to reduction of diameter. That is all.
