im telling you i have no way to get these last 2 fish out of the tank without like ripping apart all my rock work and coral. Is is possible for the fish that are left to be a carrier of disease without dying ? like lets say the disease takes a few weeks to run its coarse could i just ADD a few weeks on the 6-8 week period and assume they are just ok ?
Try the bottle trick

awesome looking fish
Thank you! Yeah tangs are pretty hardy when put in a good tank. Mines a 6 foot long tank. I would t add any fish until your 90 is cycled! You can hit me up on a PM or post for stocking suggestions from myself or other people when the time comes to add fish to the 90!

And sometimes you may not have a choice but to rip the tank up. I had to do that last weekend to get a mean tang out of there for re homing

They are one of my fav tangs .
I like purples but with the sailfin and yellow and the juv emperor adding any new fish is impossible
Oh I bet! Those tangs get nasty with new fish especially tangs in their family! My purple and yellow squabbled about a week with me having to put the purple in what I call a no no box for a few days. Then they were all good but still fought. Then figured out the root of the aggression was stress from my bristletooth tang who I caught chasing all the other tangs around and biting spines off my foxface! Out she came and back to LFs

But OP for sure cycle your tank, post for stocking suggestions when you get close to the 90 being cycled. I always add baby clowns first to a new tank!

for the future please don’t follow all advice and do your own diligence worth research .
The clowns would be ok in that size tank .
But for them to sell a tang even a baby imo isn’t right .
As mentioned above not necessarily but it could have caused some of the issue with only being stressed .

Best of luck and when you’re ready . Reach out directly to one of us . Or post in a thread
Making sure the tank is cycled to support the bio load is longest wait .

Stock Slowly

Im
Waiting for him to change to adult .
I’ve had him 3 years and started at roughly 1.5”
Oh wow! My BF wanted one but Ive got a 125 so for sure not big enough! I thought they grew fast. Will be upgrading in the next few years but did t want to have to rehome him if he got too big for the tank

What size tank??
Mine is a 230

Again . With the others I don’t know if size is enough . But we can all look forward and dream for an upgrade .

When the 90 started leaking I told
My wife I found the perfect tank . And asked how big and I said it would fit in the same location but a little bigger .

She didn’t ask anymore questions until the moving company I hired dropped it off lol

We live in a. Small apartment .
Needless to say most of our living room is the tank

It’s easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission
