Hey everyone!

Just like the title says im building a frag tank. However this is no typical tank. Well actually tanks! I am going to use two glass 30 gallons. On as the tank itself and the other as a sump. This will give me a total of 60 gallons.

The tanks are both 24"x24"x12" here is a picture of the tanks.

I like the shape of the tanks because they give lots of room for frags!

This is going to be somewhat of a slow build because I am 17 and doing it on a tight budget. My next step is going to build the stand which is going to hopefully have an open industrial look.

After I have the stand set up I am going to connect the tanks with the filtration. Also purchasing power heads at this time.

I will be updating this thread with notes and pictures of my progress.

im thinking of setting up a cube on a teenage budget too. its going to help teach some patience hopefully.

Yes it will teach patience however don't do a cube do a 40 breeder. Thats what I have as my show tank. It has a bigger foot print.

I was thinking a 60 cube from deep blue. So It would be both of your 30 gallons stacked up. 1 radion, 1 mp10 with the main goal being SPS dominated

Revhtree I love the set up you showed! But I am going to put on on top of the stand and use the other as a refugium.

Reefed419 yeah it really is and I am still not done re-enforcing it. I am barely 150 lbs however I can jump off of it and it doesnt even budge.
