Hey y'all so I have a 30 gallon tank cycled and everything.. Now im looking for some ideas for stocking. Im literally open to anything. I would love to have something that schools but I know that 30 gallons is hard to do that with.. Any ideas would be awesome.

I have a 29g, i currently have
1 wyoming white clown (going to be buying a second soon)
1 firefish
1 lawnmower blenny
1 sixline (the guy is a little agressive)
2 skunk cleaner

Honestly id just get a pair of clowns, a lawnmower blenny for algae control, and a peaceful wrasse for any pests. Then you could get something like a shrimp goby pair, i like yasha, or just anything with color thats peaceful.

I was thinking this as well. I have a pair of maroon clowns in my 90 and a nano tank with clowns already. But I honestly love clowns so much haha.

I got a fire shrimp in my 32 gal tank! Not a fish, but amazing color for the tank!!

They are really cool. I want more inverts since I can't have any in my 90 with my trigger. So that would be really cool

Pajama Cardinalfish and Banggai Cardinalfish shoal. Its not a 'school' but they hang around eachother.

This is my tank stocking (including inverts)
  • 1 Blood (Flame) shrimp
  • 1 Tuxedo Sea Urchin
  • 1 Sand Sifting Starfish
  • ~12 Blue Hermit Crabs
  • 3 Scarlet Hermit Crabs
  • ~5 Nassarius Snails (less now that crabs are growing)
  • 1 Unidentified Snail (We call him George)
  • 3 Trochus Snails
  • 3 Turbo Snails
  • Medium-sized RBTA
  • 1 Ornate Leopard Wrasse
  • 2 Wyoming White Clownfish (still babies)
  • 1 Royal Grama
  • 1 Dusky Jawfish
  • 1 Ruby Mandarin Dragonet (The only reason it is in my tank is that it eats Mysis)
  • 1 Neon Goby
  • 1 Pajama Cardinal
I'm looking to add one final fish (or two small ones)
