Looking for Led with hood setup. Don't have any corals yet but looking to get some after I get my tank were it needs to be.

I would like to keep a hood or some type of covering on the tank. Or some kind of cover over. Budget would be less than 250-300.

I have a AI prime HD on my 33G and it’s never let me down, and I have a glass cover but if I could switch to a mesh one I would simply for the improved ease of feeding and not having to pour water back into the tank off the lid

keep an eye on the dry good sell forum. I picked up 2 year old RapidLed Coronas for the rock bottom of your price range for my 29 gal. They are nearly identical to the AI Primes with a super easy and reliable wifi app and a number of my corals showed demonstrable improvement in color and growth.

I did a review of them, not a lot of people own them, but the ones who did own and posted in my thread echoed the positive experiences.

I hang mine about a foot over the tank which results in good coverage.
