Tank is filled found one small leak from the bulkhead on one of the drains looks to have been corrected it was hard to see it at first very small drip. Ammonia was dosed and now the cycling process begins day 1

Ammonia- 2.0 ppm
Nitrite- 0 ppm
Nitrate- 0 ppm

3 days and already seeing some of the affects of the nitrifying bacteria.
Ammonia-.25 ppm
Nitrite- 2.0 ppm
Nitrate- 10 ppm

Finally finish the other pump with the manifold attached thank heavens for krylon fusion paint and Oatey fusion pvc glue, ran out of blue 3/4 pipe used the paint to match the blue, and if it wasn’t for the set time of the fusion glue I would have ruined a couple pieces. Overall very happy with the outcome. This weekend I will connect the uv and order the dual reactors from brs. Not sure what I will use the 3rd manifold on. I’m definitely going to add a ATS as well but it will run of its own pump.

Got me some little guys in qt at the moment, copperband, naso, vlamingi, pintail wrasse, and a bluehead wrasse.

Going to order all of the fire fish sometime this week or next, and once they come out of qt it will be the lyretail anthias, the wrasses and tangs will stay put in their tanks for now

Here is a pic of one of the qt set ups nothing crazy very simple took less than 25 min to set up. A HOB filter, heater, light and couple pvc fittings. If you have fish that require a sand bed just use a Tupperware bowl with sand. Always take a couple days to allow them to eat well before dosing with copper.

Slowly converting in the nitrification process. the light is playing with the colors but here is where we are at after 6 days
