Here is a current pic...still have a bit of coral mounting to do. Cheers!

N11morales - Is that a BTA in your tank? How is that working out? Is it on the move? Do you have stock lights?

yes its a rose bubble tip anemone. Its going well it seems very happy. It actually hasnt moved i have had it for over a month. Guess it liked the spot i put it in. I didn't get any new lighting its just the lights the biocube 32G comes with.

Let me know how it turns out.. also I had one rock that just was so big and didn't look right to me so I grabbed a hammer and just lightly broke it up, and used it for small island rocks

I have a wide variety of corals growing well in my 32g BioCube. Some of my favorites:

- Trumpet (Candy Cane) coral
- Acans
- Hammer coral
- Toadstool
- Blastos
- Favia
- Mushrooms
- Goniopora (I suggest an ORA one - Easier to grow)
- Duncan
- Rock Anemone
- Paly/Zoa

Random thoughts:

Frogspawns are great, but be careful of the sweepers. They can be long. The sweepers on the hammers are generally shorter.

The toadstool and hammer create great movement, but they get REALLY big. Be prepared to cut them back/frag.

Think carefully about zoa/paly placements, I have a colony of orange hornets, which are nice looking, taking over an entire rock. Dito, with the mushrooms.

If I had to do it over again, I would get more acans and less zoa/palys.

By the way, the above are all growing with stock lights. :)

Have fun!
Wow awesome thanks for the ideas! Also I have been thinking about maybe getting some acans instead of more zoas. I have a zoa rock of 4 different types. But I think acans are very pretty and something different in the tank.

Found a great LFS in Indian Trail North Carolina and went a little bit crazy buying coral! Out of all of my tanks my bio cube 32 is my favorite! I think will be five months old Saturday.

Oh, I forgot the sweet little orange and blue ricordia I picked up in Greensboro last week. I also put a couple of really nice pieces of Tonga branch rock in the tank for the ricordia to cover.

I swear I have been in 75 to 100 saltwater fish stores in all my years in this hobby and Nemo’s Reef in Indian Trail North Carolina is by far the cleanest and nicest store I have ever been in. They also have great prices! nemosreef.us is their website and they have a booming online business. All of my car all except for two pieces came from there WYSIWYG section.

The smartest thing my LFS owner ever did was to give me my first piece of coral and the worst decision I have ever made was to accept it!
