So here is the final approved design that should be going into production very soon #EXCITED. I am telling you, if you are ever looking for a tank, give Joe a call. Spend 5 minutes on the phone with him and you will quickly find out he is doing this because he is passionate about it, not because its simply a job. Hell, I gave him multiple opportunities to upsell me and he didn’t even try. His concern was simply making sure I was happy with what they were going to build.

After I built the stand I realized I had a small issue. The bioreactor and skimmer were too tall to fit, well technically they would fit but the would be unserviceable. So I decided to use a secondary sump that will sit adjacent to the tank. I build a nice cabinet around it that will match the stand in the next week or so.

Got the placement of the breeder tank, skimmer, bioreactor and scrubber placed as well as the location for the UV. Also got part of the light bracket mounted. The black nylon pieces slide on the track so I can move the lights around without un-mounting them for maintenance or whatever other reason

Tried to find a decent sock holder for the remote sump. I was a bit shocked to see them going for over $100. 20 minutes in light burn, some scrap acrylic and done. Just need to glue it up

Drilled my first hole in glass today, not great, not awful… it’ll do since it’s just a sump. Clearly I was smart enough to have @Joe Glass Cages put enough holes in the coast to coast I’ll never have to worry about it again. Started doing some simple plumbing (M2 on the skimmer and sicce 3’s on the scrubber and bio reactor. Also got the light bars up, not spaced, just up. Still waiting on my Simu-sticks from GHL. If I get any tank build photos from GC, I’ll post them asap.

I you "WOULD" have tried to drill that beautiful tank Joe built you all on your own, I would have lost all respect for you. Too risky! Lol!!

Got the skimmer, ATS and bio reactor Plumbed. Find a spot for my GHL electronics and dosing container. Kind of just doing what I can until the tank arrives and making sure everything is clean.
Still waiting on my simusticks, I hope they are worth it

Started getting my rock together. I have another 100lbs of marco rock arriving Thursday and I can start playing with some aquascaping. The two shelves are around 24” in diameter and I am not even sure what to do with them but they are too cool not to use. Any ideas or comments would be appreciated
