Wanted to share my tank. I have a very hands off approach and let nature take its course. I let corals duke it out for space, unless if they’re touching my clam. If you live in Alabama and want free frags/corals let me know.

Equipment
Reef octopus 150 int classic skimmer
Phosban 150 reactor (rox carbon)
Phosban 150 reactor ( CO2 scrubber)
Icecap algae turf scrubber
2x eheim heaters
Varios 4 return
Hydros XP8
Hydros X10
Duetto ATO
4x AI Prime 16 (should’ve just got 2x Hydras)
2x AI Nero 3
Maxspect XF330 Gyre
Sicce SDC 8000 powerhead (located in sump)

Parameters/dosing
Alk: 7.3 dkH
Cal: 430
Mg: 1500
Nitrate: undetectable
Phosphate: undetectable

All for Reef: 30mL/day
BRS Soda Ash: 40mL/day

I rarely test for Nitrate/phosphate, can’t remember the last time I did. Currently have a slight turf algae growth in display which may explain why I’m reading zero. I’ve always kept alkalinity on the lower end since the beginning. I’ve attempted to raise it to 8.5 dkH over the course of a week and majority of the corals got very big mad. Ever since then I’ve kept it where they like it. Oh yea and I use reef crystals salt. I’ll typically do 5 gallon WC weekly.

Fish
Black clown
“Enter fancy name” clown
Midas Blenny
2x Banggai Cardinal
Scooter Blenny
Randal’s Goby? (White with orange stripes)
Six line wrasse
Yellow head jawfish

I swear I have 2 more fish but my mind is blanking right now. Or they died and I’ve just never noticed lol

Inverts
Sand sifting star (MIA/probably dead)
2x cleaner shrimp
2x peppermint shrimp
Pistol shrimp
Tiger conch
Trochus snails
Turbo snails
Bumblebee snails
3x emerald crabs
