Sorry I missed this.

Yes my RS750 leaked and we moved all of my fish to 4fords tanks….

It’s been a rough 6 months for central Indiana enthusiasts with tank problems!

looks so nice!

what's your favorite fish?
mine would be the yellow puffer then the regal angel.
Thank you. It would be difficult to pick one, I have so many I really like. I love angels especially but both of those are high on the list. The conspicuous angel is up there, too!

Mine is the yellow puffer. It’s the first fish I notice when I see videos of his tank (I’ve been following him for years).

I never knew yellow puffers existed before seeing Ford’s tank. I never saw one besides for his. It must be very rare, right?

I see them occasionally available but I guess come to think of it I’ve not seen one in anyone else’s tank. My kids call him “potato fish” because well… and @HotRocks kids came up with it and it stuck!

WOW! That's all I can say. I have to go back and reread this whole thread again to see how you handle all the nutrient control.

Quick question on the puffer fish - do you need to trim it's "teeth"?

Water changes, large skimmer, that’s it. Water changes are easy with 90G tank station @HotRocks set up for me!

I don’t trim his teeth, he bites rocks a lot to keep them filed down. I believe only a few puffers - perhaps only freshwater - people recommend trimming but I’m not for certain.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
