Do you add to your water change extra calc? I dose 6 ml alk and 30 ml calc and I use the same salt

I use a Bubble Magus TS1 doser for the alk at 15ml per day right now and hand dose 15ml of cal daily

Another update, so I have noticed in the past few weeks that since I increased my ALK from 7.5 to 9 some of my sps are ticked off. Current plan is to bring alk back down to7.5-8

Ok time for a big update, So once i started dosing Potassium Nitrate i started to get cyano on the sandbed witch also moved to some of the rocks. Well i got annoyed of i and decided to hit the tank with some Chemiclean, I did as recommended and removed the collection cup of my skimmer, opened the air valve to full open and let it run 24 hours a day for aeration. 48 hours later i did a 20% WC and also added 28 grams of GAC, from what i understand a 20% WC is not enough to remove the Chemiclean so in went the GAC. All the cyano is gone and the tank is CLEAN!!! Now since i was not skimming for about 4 days total my PO4 went up to .08, im not going to freak out about that and let it go down naturally. During my Chemiclean treatment i had no issues or losses, IMO Chemiclean is awesome if you have cyano issues. Now in my last post i was trying to get my Alk down and then i thought well i cant get it down to low because i use RC salt at 1.026 it sits close to 10, so if i were to have my tank at 7.5 then do a WC i would have an Alk spike. So my Alk is now at 8.3-8.6 witch is fine with me and with that i wound have a huge swing with a WC. Also what i feared might be coming to be, Since i started dosing Potassium Nitrate my Potassium levels have been slowly rising, right now i am at 412 ppm and last week i was at 388. I will be testing Potassium more often now to make sure it does not get over 450, if it does i will be ordering Sodium Nitrate to combat this issue. when i dissolved 10 grams of PN into 1 liter of water i had to dose 50ml a day to hold 5 ppm of Nitrate, so i made a new batch in witch i dissolved 20 grams of PN in 1 liter of water and dose 25ml a day( Makes it easier). Other then this everything is doing well and growing, the only issue i have is that 2 of my SPS are not happy my pink milli and a smoothskin acro, oh well i guess its shopping time for some new sticks!!

Hey everyone a little update on the Nuvo 40, so everything is doing great!!! The tank has balanced it self out, i now only dose Potassium Nitrate once a week at 25ml to maintain 8 ppm of Nitrate. Lost those 2 sps that were ticked off, but its ok new ones will take their place, other then that everything is growing and and growing!! I will post some picks this weekend!!

I no longer have the ATI 8x24 T5 over the tank, it has been upgraded to a ATI 6x24 dimmable T5. The 2 extra bulbs on the 8x24 were over my filtration area, aka waste of light!! I am now running 3 ATI blue+ 1 E5 Blue pop on one channel and 2 ATI coral+ on the 2nd channel. I love the pop i get from the E5 led bulb and i now don't have to get a LED actinic strip.
