I have a 6 like wrasse in my 150 mixed reef tank and was thinking of maybe adding another wrasse. Is that a no no?

Don't do it. I made the mistake of adding a six line and now it attacks any new fish I add, wrasse or not.

I tried adding a Potters Angel last week and the six line went crazy. Luckily I got the angel and put him into the frag tank for now.

I have been trying to catch my six line for months with no luck.

I wouldn't suggest a six line.

Knowing what you have would help to provide suggestions
I currently have a 6 line. He's pretty tame actually. Doesn't pick on anyone. I just wasn't sure if I can add a second wrasse.

It was my last fish added to my 40B. Now happily living with my Banggai, Gramma, Bi-Colored Blenny and Yellow Watchman. It's been 6 months and he/she has displayed no aggression at all towards the other fish nor harmed any corals.
Actually it is my Banggai who displays the most dominance. Go figure right.

I honestly believe that adding this fish to a tank where ALL other fish have established themselves and it being the last fish added, makes a very big difference.

The 6 liners tend to become aggressive later on down the road 8-12months. Funny you said your banggai has most attitude, so does mine.

Interesting. Mine has been in the tank for about 4 months. Should I pull him out?

I wouldnt, give it time and see what happens. Maybe you will get a more tame one! Imo clowns can be more aggressive than other fish "listed" as semi aggressive. But with 6 liners they seem to become more aggressive later on. Same thing I read about banggais and so far having mine for 6 months I see she is getting more of a attitude.

Have you personally kept a 6 Line?

Yes and no, only had it for 2 weeks before it jumped. I'm glad and sad at the same time as it was replaced with a friendly and more attractive imo mccoskers.

I had 6 line wrasses for over 4 years, 3 of them in different systems and they are pretty friendly to their tankmates.

Thanks. Trying to get a yellow coris. Almost picked up a 6-line.

I have had a 6 line in my 100 gal tank for over a year. I added a yellow coris a few months back and have had no issues. But I will say my 6 line is probably an exception. He doesn't care about anything that goes in the tanl
